Where is the dance studio?

The dance studio is located at Room 1-2 20/F 148 Electric Road Tin Hau, Hong Kong.  To get there by MTR, just take the island line to either Tin Hau station or Fortress Hill station.  To get there by bus, the 39m, 49m, 15B, 914, 968, E11, 25 buses stop near Tin Hau station.  The 18p, 25c, 110, 118, A11, N118 buses also travel along Electric Rd.  If you’re walking from either station it’s a 5-7 minute walk straight to the studio.  Here is a map of the studio:

What do I wear to class?

For Level 1-3 classes, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothes.  For Level 4-8 classes, we suggest rubber sole shoes, no watches, no jewelry, and very comfortable/loose clothing.  Please remember that any shoes you wear should have non-marking soles!  We want to keep our beautiful floor happy, healthy, and danceable for years to come!

How much are lessons and how long do they last?

Classes run in 6 week sessions and each class lasts for an hour.  Classes cost $680 HKD per course and if you are a full-time student with ID, classes are discounted to $600 HKD per course.

What about refunds?

There are currently no refunds past the 2nd week of classes and should you choose to request a refund, the first class would be charged at a rate of $200.  Please direct all questions regarding class refunds to DanzStage dance studio.

What if I have to miss a class?

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to make up the class and there is no discount for missing classes.  If you have decided to take the course, you should try to be at each and every single class since you paid for it already and the material is progressive.  If you don’t want to get behind in class, you can also schedule a private lesson with us to catch up on material and possibly get some bonus instruction with us.

Do you offer private lessons?

We DO offer private lessons!  Basically, for those students’ schedules that does not meet-up with the weekly classes, or for students who need more individual instruction, there is the option for one-on-one privates with both Alex and Sammy.  The cost of one private lesson is $880 HKD which includes a full hour of private instruction, studio rental, and provided music.  We allow two people to attend the lesson.  We suggest students either come to the lesson with specific things they want to work out in their dancing, or we can help you find a good starting point.  If you want to schedule a lesson, please register below!

What if there is a Typhoon?

In the case there is a typhoon in Hong Kong, we will NOT be holding classes since we do care about your health.  We will post typhoon updates on this website and typhoon makeup classes will be at the discretion of the instructors and the dance studio.
